Is 'Sizzling Samosa' an Offensive term to Describe an Indian Guy?

An Indian guy reportedly got angry when a black lady he referred to as "chocolate mama," replied by saying "hey sizzling samosa." Apparently he felt it was racist. What are your thoughts?
