Proud mother, Tina Lawson took to social media to express her excitement over Solange Knowles new album making Billboard 200 chart.
Solange sold 72,000 combined sales and streaming units to earn the top spot, with 46,000 of those straight sales since being released on September 30 beaten Bon Iver to the top of the US albums chart.
The R&B singer’s A Seat at the Table outsold 22, A Million, which was widely tipped to become Bon Iver’s first No 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.
