Woman create Beautiful Yorkshire hamlet using 35 scrumptious Christmas cakes, icing and marzipan

he village of Youlgrave in Derbyshire has been recreated in cake form by local baker Lynn Nolan 53, who spent six months on the incredibly detailed project to help raise funds for the church roof. 

Around 35 cakes had to be shared out and baked in several ovens around the village before the project could be completed. 

The cake village includes almost exact replicas of real life buildings including the pub left, hotel , houses right and the village shop.

 Azerbaijani painter Tünzale Memmedzade spent 3 years meticulously rewriting the sacred book by hand and the result is captivating even if you’re an atheist.

Memmedzade started her project after investigating that, even though the Quran had been transcribed onto various materials, it has never been inked on silk. 

She took the official version released from the Diyanet, the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs, as her source and used a little more than three pints of liquid gold and silver as well as 164 feet of 11.4″ x 13″ sheets of fine silk.     More photos after cut

Woman Uses 13,000 Pennies To Renovate Old Floor And Turn It Into Stunning Patterns

 Tonya Tooners finally revealed what we can do with that jar of pennies collecting dust in the back of your cupboard.


The Portland, Oregon-based DIY enthusiast used over 13,000 coins to make a beautiful patterned floor in her house, and as you can see, it’s worth every penny!

She made it using three $50 bags of pennies from the bank, along with some Elmer’s glue (ok, ten bottles of Elmer’s glue to be precise), wood filler, grout, and some expensive epoxy. The project took a few months to complete, and progress was often stalled because one of her dogs kept pooping on the pennies .   More photos after cut...

This Woman is Making Adorable Crocheted Pokémon

Nichole Dunigan is the artist behind these handmade cuties. She is not selling rather hids them in various pokéstops and gyms around her neighborhood for local kids to find.

Dunigan’s project is only one week old, but it’s already sparked a movement, inspiring other artists to crochet their own pokémon to leave at pokéstops in their cities. Her #CrochetGO 

Facebook group is now filled with members from all over the world — Australia, Denmark, and the UK — posting pictures of their creations.
