Woman create Beautiful Yorkshire hamlet using 35 scrumptious Christmas cakes, icing and marzipan

he village of Youlgrave in Derbyshire has been recreated in cake form by local baker Lynn Nolan 53, who spent six months on the incredibly detailed project to help raise funds for the church roof. 

Around 35 cakes had to be shared out and baked in several ovens around the village before the project could be completed. 

The cake village includes almost exact replicas of real life buildings including the pub left, hotel , houses right and the village shop.

The Portland, Oregon-based DIY enthusiast used over 13,000 coins to make a beautiful patterned floor in her house, and as you can see, it’s worth every penny!

She made it using three $50 bags of pennies from the bank, along with some Elmer’s glue (ok, ten bottles of Elmer’s glue to be precise), wood filler, grout, and some expensive epoxy. An American woman, Natalie Sideserf a genius artist has made an eerily realistic cake that you will be afraid to cut .

 Natalie is the owner of Sideserf Cake Studio explains “The inside is made of layers of vanilla cake and swiss buttercream. Once carved, the entire cake is covered in a layer of chocolate ganache and a final layer of modeling chocolate to sculpt the details.”

The cake was featured on a promotional video clip on the AMC network. She made her breakthrough with a hyper-realistic cake of Willie Nelson. She also became popular for her “till death do us part” wedding cake modeled after her own severed head. (h/t: sobadsogood)

In a video posted to her Instagram page, the hair stylist and colourist, who is based in Norway, shows how she easily curls her hair.

She claims that the method not only creates perfect curls but ensures that they last longer than using a curler.

'If your hair is the worst when it comes to holding a curl, this is a fantastic cure to perpetually straight hair,' Helin wrote on Instagram.
