New Apple iOS 10 update has single parent families represented in emoji form. 

People took to Twitter to share their appreciation, a woman shared that she was over the moon with the single parent emoji (right main), one man shared a screenshot of a message he sent to his mother (top left), while a few others have praised Apple for recognizing these families (centre and bottom left). 

However, some people have questioned the lack of cultural diversity in the update.
